Family Time

Our family got big this year, and we are thankful for that.
But there’s one of us in particular we’d like to give a collective thanks to – Marc Cabot.

This picture of him is dated October, 1979 (he’s on the left). With him is Harvey Stabene, another legend in Darn Tough Vermont lore. Knowing where our family is now, you could say it started right about here, with this photo. And it just looks like any not-so-great photo any of us would have taken some 40 years ago of the family we gathered with. But this thanks is for one of us.

Beyond founding Cabot Hosiery, which lead to Darn Tough Vermont, Marc owns the art of delivering kind words when you seem to need them the most. Don’t get us wrong, just like a good homebrew of fire cider, this man’s got a snap to him that comes with the healthy commentary.

He treats us like family, and we love him in kind.
