| Hero - We just got word from Retriever Rescue Of Las Vegas about an extremely heartbreaking story...This precious girl is named Sierra, and she desperately needs YOUR help! Sierra's owner beat her terribly over and over with a chain and we are learning that this went on for a long time. Sierra was owned as a breeding dog, but when she was first rescued, her babies were nowhere to be found. Her wounds were so big and deep that they didnโt heal and someone tried to sew her up in a couple of places with rope. This led to her entire body becoming infected from living outside with no shelter while bugs fed on her wounds. She will need to have some areas removed and skin graphed and her body will need to fight off the infections. In addition โ she was beaten so hard that her skull had caved in on one side of her head. If Sierra heals from the infections, they will need to operate to remove skull fragments.
