| | | | | | KIKO KOSTADINOV GETS FULLY BAKED BY MASHA BATSII | | | | Just six months after their acclaimed CSM MA 2018 collection, Laura and Deanna Fanning made their London Fashion Week debut and marked an exciting new chapter in the Kiko Kostadinov label. United by an emphasis on pattern-cutting and uniforms, Kiko, Laura and Deanna are continually pushing possibilities and igniting imaginations in this collaborative brand that houses a mutual passion for sartorial innovation and experimentation. Throughout the autumn/winter 21 collection there’s a focus on comfort, movement and multi-purpose. To celebrate its launch, LN-CC invited Masha Batsii to utilise her 3D skills to design a custom cake before the artist fell down a jelly-lined rabbit hole as she picked up the baked treat. | | | | | MM6 X EASTPAK: REINVENTION IN REVERSE | | | | Where MM6 Margiela is known for experimentation, Eastpak is recognised for its consistency. In this unexpected partnership, signatures from each brand are deconstructed and reimagined creating a topsy turvy alternate reality to coincide with MM6’s AW21 ‘Reverse Mode’ Collection. Iconic designs, including Eastpak’s Orbit backpack and MM6’s Japanese bag have been rearranged into reversible constructions, reformed in primary colourways and reset with back-to front brand labels. Despite the disruptive curiosity of this pairing, the result is undeniably faithful to the aesthetics and principles of both brands. | | | | | | LN-CC PLAY: LATE NIGHTS 05 WITH MASHA BASTSII | | | | As the artist bakes her signature dessert of Baby Scream Cake to celebrate the launch of Kiko Kostadinov, Masha soundtracks a midnight feast. Press play and dig in. | | | | | | | | | | |
