Here's Katie with the Hardware scoop.
(PC Gamer)
Alongside the official RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti announcement this week, our Chris has been trash talking the well loved M.2 slot, Jorge has been sipping away on frankly disgusting looking Diablo IV Demon 'meat' shakes, and Jacob cant help but baulk at the rumoured price of Apple's upcoming VR headset.

I've been avoiding all this weirdness and negativity by listening to the original IBM 7094 vocaloid sing "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do" on repeat. Sure it may be the soundtrack to our ultimate demise, but it was the precursor to the hauntingly brutal music of artists like UtsuP. That's my take on it anyway… as Jacob cowers in the corner from our would-be robot overlords.
The Big Story
Nvidia's $299 RTX 4060 means we're finally getting a next-gen GPU that costs less than the graphics card it's replacing
(Nvidia)
You already know most of this, to be fair, but it's all official now: the RTX 4060 Ti is going to be on shelf on May 24 with a retail price of $399. Yes, it's taken five iterations of the new Ada architecture to finally get down to a new GPU priced at the same level as the graphics card it's replacing.

Pretty big deals
Sabrent Rocket 2230 | 1TB | NVMe | 4,750MB/s read | 4,300MB/s write | $109.95 (save $160)
(Sabrent)
If you're looking for a better storage option for your Steam Deck, this Sabrent Rocket 2230 outperforms the Deck's own internal NVMe SDD by a large margin.
Asus ROG Zephyrus 14 | Nvidia RTX 3060 | AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS | 14-inch | 1080p | 144Hz | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $899.99 at Best Buy (save $500)
(Asus)
If you don't want a hulking gaming laptop, let me introduce the Zephyrus 14: a 14-incher that can game without busting your bank balance or your shoulder when lugging it around. No-nonsense specs in a delightful package. That $400 saving doesn't hurt either.
MSI MAG342CQPV | 34-inch | 100Hz | 3440 x 1440 | VA | $279.99 (save $50)
(MSI)
A 34-inch ultrawide 1440p high-refresh experience for well under $200? Count us in. This is a proper gaming monitor from a big brand and a lot of monitor for the money. OK, it's only a middling 100Hz rather than 144Hz. And the 250 nit brightness is pretty modest. But the price point is awfully compelling.

This AR laptop gives you infinite screens while having none
(Sightful)
One of the biggest banes of trying to get work done on a laptop is the single screen setup. If you're used to dealing with multiple monitors, being reduced to one can be incredibly limiting, having to switch apps constantly rather than immediately having all the information required on screen. The rise in work from home has seen solutions to this problem start cropping up, but the AR screened Spacetop has got to be one of the coolest ones yet.

Asus extends AM5 motherboard warranty to cover beta BIOSes and memory overclocking presets
(AMD)
Following recent backlash to its warranty requirements on AM5 motherboards, Asus has confirmed that it will offer support to users that install beta versions of its motherboard BIOS software.

Dark web crypto-drug traffickers 'can try to hide in the furthest reaches of the internet, but the Justice Department will find you'
(Anna Moneymaker / Staff)
Dark web crypto criminals beware. The US Justice Department has issued a warning after arresting 288 dark web ne'er-do-wells over suspected opioid sales on the notorious drug trafficking site, Monopoly Market, which has since been taken down.
