The modern-day Ebony Beach Club is an homage to the original founded in 1957 by the late Silas C. White in Santa Monica, CA. Present-day member Gage Crismond and founder Justin “Brick” Howze dedicate the name and purpose of their club to Silas C. White’s hope to create a welcoming space for people of color at the oceanfront.
