Voo Visits: Leonor Antunes
 

For the latest episode of Voo Visits, we met with Portuguese artist Leonor Antunes in her studio in Berlin-Wedding. Creating sculptures and re-imagining spaces informed by architecture and design, Leonor’s artworks are like thumbing through a multi-dimensional archive of the places, materials and people she engages with. Lead by intensive research and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, materials and the works of often overlooked female artists and architects, her art tells stories of collaboration, connection and intersection.

We spoke to the artist about the poetry of craftsmanship, the power of collaboration and the importance of passing on knowledge.
