With an anthropological approach designers Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena observe traditional techniques and stories referencing themes from Bulgarian Folklore to 1980’s rock climbing, all while utilising recycled and deadstock materials produced in London and Bulgaria. Their cult item - the pleated carabiner skirt - is the perfect blend of a neo-grunge and schoolgirl aesthetic that lets you explore your most rebellious side in a fun yet grown-up way.
