| Hero - Do you remember Sierra, the beautiful pup whose owner beat her terribly over and over with a chain for a long time? Sierra was owned as a breeding dog, but when she was first rescued, her babies were nowhere to be found. We just got an incredible update from our friends at the Retriever Rescue Of Las Vegas!
Sierra is currently recovering in a foster home. She goes back in to be looked at each week to clean and check on healing. So far it is healing well. Still another month of recovery before her skull surgery can be addressed. It is very important her skin doesn't rip. That is why she has a soft cone around her body so she can't bump it. She also has the booties because if she scratches her skin with her paw she can pull it back open.
