Anita’s interest in sewing began when she was a young girl, and she spent her entire career working as a seamstress at Maisons in Paris. She was one of a select number of people who helped translate Karl's original sketches into physical garments, though she says his level of precise detail made her job easy to complete.

 | | | | "When Karl gave me a sketch — unlike many designers — he always made me sit down with him, so he could explain what he wanted from A to Z," says Anita. "He didn't like things that were too easy, but it had it's charm to work with him. It was amazing." | | | | | | | | | |
