In the book the photographer Alice Hawkins uses herself to appropriate the imagery and guises employed by country western sensation and American dream, Dolly Parton. It’s much like a project by Nadia Lee Cohen.

Nicola L. - Life and Art

Life and Art is a new book from Apartamento. This book is a puffy (yes) thick brick of a book about the recently passing artist Nicole L. who made furniture and funny objects linked to the body. The latest issue of Apartamento also just arrived!




 
Just in time for summer: We’ve restocked the amazing book Ibiza ’89 by Dave Swindells. The book is filled with nostalgic photographs and summer vibes all the way from late 80’s Ibiza. It’s party, beach, glam and glitz.




 

 

ALL-IN N°6 just released. It’s the Paris/Norwegian avantgarde fashion brand’s magazine, and it’s always totally delicious. As an object it’s stunning, bedazzled with the cutest little bow around it. For the content, it’s packed with some of the most interesting names in fashion right now, such as: Akeem Smith, Natasha Stagg, Kristina Nagel and Lengua. It’s truly spectacular and limited to an edition of 700, so grab your copy fast!




 
A new book from Idea with the New York legend, activist, model, photographer and icon Richie Shazam. Glossy red and hot hot hot, containing 190 self-portraits shot on film.




 
It’s is a photography book that portrays the artist Amy Winehouse in the months leading up to the release of her debut album FRANK. The book consists of images from two shoots, one in London and the other in New York. Only a few of these images have been seen previously, the majority have remained unpublished - until now.
