Letter from the Editor: This time of year is a doozy for so many reasons. Many of us are planning on spending time with family, which comes with its own variety of stressors. And of course, there’s buying presents, making travel arrangements, and maintaining the holiday magic (a big theme for me this year), which can definitely be hard to muster.
Here’s the thing: Beyond the societal expectations around the holidays/New Year’s, this year has been both weird and hard enough. So even if you think you didn’t accomplish anything (which I’m sure isn’t true), you still deserve to pour yourself some champagne or buy yourself a present, and, as the song goes, let your heart be light.
Accomplishments don’t have to be big, and they don’t have to make us money or change our lives, either. Accomplishments are just moments when we didn’t take being alive for granted. On that note, here’s what the M.M. team “accomplished” this year.
But! There’s a whole different set of rules for your wardrobe. Your wardrobe needs to put in the work Every. Single. Day. Its sole job is to keep you feeling comfortable, confident, put-together, and happy. If its not doing that for you, it might be time for your wardrobe to set some New Year’s resolutions of its own.
