Former Cycle World road-test editor and still-fast-guy Don Canet dragged his elbow for the first time on the track after decades of riding, racing, and testing at the highest level. During his years at CW he has done many remarkable things, but during our latest superbike comparison, the 61-year-old legend returned to the paddock with a smile on his face as he informed the crew of this new developmental milestone. This, perhaps, best sums up the latest crop of no-holds-barred superbikes from Aprilia, BMW, and Ducati. As bonkers as the dyno charts and front-straight speeds are, the control and composure of these modern showroom racers are their most impressive traits.

Even so, one machine was unanimously voted as the supreme of the supreme in our 2022 superbike comparison test.

Which one? Well, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t say, “Read the results here.”

As always, there’s more than we can fit into this email. Check out cycleworld.com for additional tests, reviews, and news.
