Right now Harley-Davidson is throwing a big bash in Milwaukee celebrating its 120th year of producing motorcycles. During this shindig, the motorcycle media is getting a chance to ride the Motor Company’s new 121ci 2023 CVO Street Glide and Road Glide. But ahead of everyone else, Cycle World Editor-in-Chief Mark Hoyer rode on both models in Monterey, California, during MotoAmerica’s Laguna Seca round. 

Both the CVO Road Glide and Street Glide now have variable valve timing, more displacement, redesigned bodywork, new suspension with more rear travel, and a slew of electronic rider aids. Hoyer spent a day riding both models along California's Highway 1—perhaps the best proving ground for a Big-Twin American bagger.
