Letter From the Team: Well, it finally happened: I got Covid. And as over 60% of Americans could tell you, it was not fun. If I’m being honest, I almost (almost!) feel guilty that I only just got it for the first time. Yes, I’ve been careful, and yes, I’m an enthusiastic mask-wearer with a booster, but I know that my ability to avoid the virus thus far is largely a function of the immense privilege that is working from home—a privilege that many people don’t have.

I’m 12 days in and still have a cough, but other than that, I’m feeling much better. I knew things were turning around for me when I woke up and actually felt like putting on clothes, rather than languishing in my pajamas until 6pm, which was pretty much my M.O. for the first five days of being sick. That said, I’m still going for maximum comfort, which in my book, means a soft T-shirt...

...and stretchy pants that don’t pinch my waist. I know I’m not alone in my love for this easy combo.

I’m an introvert, and I secretly kind of like being in quarantine. But after nearly two weeks of being cooped up, I am starting to get ever so slightly…bored. Maybe that’s why I had so much fun writing this kind-of off-kilter piece on unexpected pairings, ranging from exciting outfit combinations to weird-but-amazing food combos.
