Harley-Davidson’s revamp of its massively popular Street Glide and Road Glide for 2024 is a big deal—a really big deal. Icons of American motorcycle touring, H-D’s Glides have defined the segment since their respective introductions. A significant restyle keeps familiar looks with a sharper modern edge, and both feature new Milwaukee-Eight 117 powerplant and ride modes. There is a lot more on the technical front too. But is new necessarily better? Cycle World Editor-at-Large Blake Conner headed to Las Vegas—and rode back to Los Angeles—to find out if the new Glides are a sure bet.
