Letter from the Team: As I was putting the finishing touches on this week’s stories, I noticed that despite covering wide-ranging topics, they all spoke to a common theme: balance. I suppose it makes sense—after all, M.M.’s signature Power Casual look is the clothing equivalent of work-life balance. We’ve found that this way of dressing takes the stress out of navigating constantly shifting dress codes and norms, and for someone like Kelsea Olivia, the CEO and floral designer of East Olivia, that balance of polish and practicality is especially necessary. Her day often starts with long walks through NYC’s floral market and ends with her giving a presentation. For her varied work day, there’s one key item she turns to again and again.
