Letter from the Team It’s been a hard week, and if you’re reading this, it may be because you’re searching for some comfort or lightness. We always aim to make The M Dash a source of inspiration and joy—but especially today, we hope that reading our latest stories can serve as a brief moment of respite. First up, we have a really wonderful new story from author (and founder of The M Dash) Tory Hoen, who’s currently in her third trimester of pregnancy. Through her experience, she’s discovered that the maternity-dressing rules she’s always heard aren’t quite as useful as she previously believed. And in fact, reexamining those rules has helped her find a greater sense of freedom and playfulness in her maternity journey.

For those looking to find comfort in clothing, I have an obvious but effective suggestion: cashmere. This week, I compiled a list of five outfits featuring cashmere sweaters that I’m especially looking forward to wearing this season. They range from office-appropriate to date-night ready, but they all have one thing in common: Wearing these outfits feels like getting an all-day, full-body hug.
