Triumph revamped its oh-so-good Street Triple for 2023, polishing it with more sporting potential without losing the plot regarding what made this naked bike a class leader year in and year out. As the naked segment gets more and more extreme with hard-edged models like KTM’s 890 Duke R, Hinkley brass knew the Street Triple 765 needed more power and agility, but they weren’t willing to throw away the model’s stability and usability.

So what has it become?

We sent Cycle World’s in-market editor and fast guy Bradley Adams to Spain to find out. He spent two full days riding two of the three Street Triple 765 models, the R and RS. Out in the countryside on day one, he evaluated the street-focused R model; the next day, he spent his time lapping the fast and flowing Circuito de Jerez.
